Project Management

The Business Administration as an academic department was founded in (2003-2004) . Later in (2013-2014), the name of the department was changed to (Project management) and the study programs were also changed in the department.

At the beginning, applying for the college was open to all graduates of high school branches: scientific, literary and vocational. But now applying to the college is specified to high school graduates of (scientific and literary) branches through the Central Admission System.

Generally, the nature of Project Management department is related to daily life of the society and it is clear that project management is necessary in governmental and non-governmental Organizations .

1. Provide job opportunities for all students according to their skills and expertise in the field of projects.
2. Introducing the administration philosophy to the Kurdish community by preparing expert students.
3. Introducing the modern programs of studying to students and continuing scientific training in the field of vocational and human capacity.

Providing the structure and academic environment through which students can develop basic knowledge and improve analytical abilities, critical thinking and effective communication skills necessary to excel in leadership abilities that enable them to succeed in their professional and personal lives, with an emphasis on ethical and professional behavior in the practice of business in projects.

1. Enable students to obtain knowledge and understanding of the ideational framework for project management.
2. Introduce students to the basic concepts of project management and its importance in the business environment.
3. Understand the concepts and tools of project management design and implementation and controlling it.
4. The student learns the concepts and tools used in project planning.
